I feel like when I was a kid, I thought that as long as I did well and kept moving, I would never have to deal with loss but like, even if your loved ones stay alive, you’ll always be coping with small instances of grief. Losing opportunities, breakups, rejections of every variety, and common disappointments are part of life and never something you could completely eliminate.
what i’ve seen on social media seems to put a lot of emphasis on having aesthetically-pleasing mobility aids so here’s a small shoutout to folks who need to use “”“ugly”““ or plain-looking mobility aids you don’t really have the time or energy to decorate (or also if you simply don’t care about decoration).
